The live version was even worse for me :( & Coeurli, I like some of the songs just don't agree with writing about relationships that've ended. I just try to forget them forever than making a song to make it better because in the long run I'll be happier that way.

I don't miss the point, I just find it boring. Also, writing a song about losing someone from a relationship seems like a stupid idea in my opinion. It's best to just forget them than to prolong the pain!

There was meant to be 2 albums originally and I think UiF was maybe from the acoustic album and they slipped it in the MX album. Maybe it'll grow on me but seen as I've listened to the album many, many times, and I'm beginning to hate UiF now, I don't think my opinion is going to change again.

I've got the idea I want my room to be full of Coldplay. I know it'll take time but firstly, I don't know where to start. Has anyone any suggestions as to what I could do? I'm wanting to draw stuff on with pencil then paint on. The beauty is if I do something wrong I can just paint over and start again! I have access to an A4 laser printer at school which I can abuse if I want to print stuff off. So yeah, like I say, suggestions please. Plus some resources would be nice :) I'd like to do as much as I can for free. Paying for things makes my room less unique. I'm not great at art but I can adapt :) Thankyou fellow coldplayers

My voice resonates with his, I have fond memories of listening to X&Y on journeys we used to do every Friday, he's a genuine person and I see similarities in him and me. I know all fans would say that but I mean honestly, when I sing it's not me singing, it's Chris. I wish someone could share the same emotion I have. I was talking to a girl for a while who likes Coldplay also, and a lot at that, but soon realised I'm much more obsessed. I don't know whether it's a good thing for me, I tend to think about the band like I know them, which obviously isn't true :(

I live in Yorkshire ha! When I go to London this year I'll go past his house, the bakery & the other place I don't know the name of. Just pictures of the locations would be cool and a drink on that bench outside the bakery would make me feel great. Every fan can be a creep but I don't want to be every fan :) Would you say I feel the same as little girls who like Justin Bieber? Maybe I will then understand their state of mind

Exactly my opinion too. Wrong place at the wrong time I guess.

Well I mean, I don't want to be seen as stupid. Maybe just doing some of the things Chris does, going the same places would be good enough. I think eventually when Coldplay have died down we will all have the chance to meet Coldplay. Atm I'm living a pretty odd life where Chris is so close to me. I'm too attached to him and I know I'm going to trip sometime and be very upset :(

I know all of us are fans here, but does anyone have any advice on how I'd go about speaking to the band? I'm not an idiot, and realise how difficult it'd be but, I'm not a teenage annoying fan who'd bug they with questions. I'd probably just stare at them and talk about chris martins vocal range and boring stuff like that! +, I know coldplay have a fan email address, but how would I write a message that actually means something and doesn't just sound repetitive like the rest? And do they actually read them? Annoyingly, I understand the band don't care about me, but I do have certain qualities they might be impressed by. Oh god, how stupid do I sound :(

Anyone else find MX, well all Coldplay albums, to be journeys? I was listening to MX in the gym yesterday and when it stopped playing I realised I was completely disconnected from the room, well, until... ...when Up In Flames was playing. Someone compared it to Fix You once and I was like, wahh?. No where near as good! It's positioned in the wrong place, between 2 fast paced-ish songs and I just got annoyed that DLIBYH wasn't playing, the great song it is. Up In Flames isn't right for this album, well and truely. Bound to get people disagreeing that someone can dislike a Coldplay song but I think I do. Boring and repetitive song. Sorry guys, but it's better than lying to myself :(

Looking to buy the singles 1999-2006. What price does everyone think would be good for the set? I'm looking at around £40 without the bag and mug. Is that good or is there a chance they may pop-up for cheaper?

The creator of the bands says its a mixture of RF signals which control them. Different frequency for different lights. Makes sense.. Have a read on it, it's on the coldplay website

I was in school with a friend, and there's this guy with a mask on. I assumed it was Will Champion, and he agreed, then took the mask off and it was some other guy who I can't put a name to. Next to him there's Chris Martin, and we spoke for quite a while haha. I was telling him about the Charlie Brown video and tried to explain to him that they're focusing on a different audience and stuff. He then got out a notebook and told me to tell him the top 5 things wrong with it. And then I woke up! I've been trying to get into this kind of dreaming for ages and when it happens it's great! p.s, anyone who gets upset they're waking up, it actually lets you remember the dream so don't kill yourself for it :) taz.

Well I thought about PoC but after the Charlie Brown video I don't know how they'll top it? IMO, they shoulda used this style of video for PoC. Now I don't even think they'll release PoC, it's too close to Charlie Brown

I think we should all just forget about this release and hope that Coldplay redeem themselves with their next video. Which I assume now will be Hurts Like Heaven, or even dlibyh

My favourite era I think was VlV but it varies. I did originally like MX but now it's not the best because it's too mainstream. I KNOW Coldplay are going for that but I just don't find the songs as pleasing to listen to. The Charlie Brown video just sums up everything I feel now. The guilt I feel for supporting this band who aren't who they used to be. I love Coldplay still but as someone has already mentioned, it's as if their best songs have already been. Where do they go from here? Every album has had a main instrument upto now and MX is the electro finale I guess. Unless they start acoustic again, I think Coldplay will start to be seen as only mainstream and nothing else. I wonder what CM is thinking about MX. He's become almost TOO confident and I think it's backfired... Just my opinions. Taz

Coldplay up for 2 NME awards... ...For worst band and worst album. What the hell? Was very, very surprised to see that, especially when you consider who're in for best band!

I also have iTunes but I will never buy songs seperately :) The album is beautiful not just one song. I think when played all together the songs bind but some separate don't work
