Ah, yes, the "leg" pic... I was so in shock about the position of someone's leg that I didn't notice the fact that it was taken at the Brits... Once again, all I can say is "oh, my!"

What made me happy today? The birth of my second grandson (3rd grandchild!), Connor!

I'm only 5'3", too, and my hubby's a whole foot taller than I am... makes for great hugs, like being totally enveloped in love! :D (congrats on 20 years! hubby and I are coming up for 5 but we were apart for 15 years and then found each other again) And I love the fact that you got to meet Peter Gabriel, Tracie, that is too cool... I used to love his music back in the time...

Thanks for all the welcomes, folks, I finally feel right at home. That video is still not working for me, but that's okay... thanks to this site I've probably seen all those pics already! You guys have been keeping me in stitches for so long, as well as making blush to the roots of my hair (can't believe I never made the connection with Green Eyes before!). And you darn well better welcome me, considering YOU'RE the ones who corrupted my purely innocent mind with all the innuendo and damning pics! :laugh3: Seriously though, I love it here, and can't wait to harass you guys with a million questions and even more opinions! :P

Oh, you don't know the half of it! I disliked Yellow so much, I would literally plug my ears with my fingers and go lalala until it, or any other Coldplay song, ended. Then I bought my brother the 2003 Live DVD for Christmas and the second I saw them and really heard them, omg, I was hooked! Jonny just blew me away with his guitar playing, and Guy had to be the hardest working bass player out there at that time. Funny thing is, I only actually watched the dvd a couple of times before I ran out and bought A Rush of Blood to the Head and listened to that non-stop. I never really thought about what they did before that album, so when I stumbled upon my copy of the dvd a couple of weeks back, and started watching all these songs I never knew existed, I had to go out and get Parachutes and get a true introduction to their music! I've been listening to this jumble of songs from all their albums now for the past couple of weeks, almost non-stop and you know what? Even though their music has evolved since Parachutes, it all basically blends together into a cohesive body of work. JMO :D

Yeah, that's my impression of him, too... not that that is a bad thing, it obviously works for them, since they never mention any animosity. Thanks for the vote of confidence... I'm feeling a lot more hopeful now that I'll see them someday! :)

You should get one... this is my consolation prize for not being able to go to their concert this year... oh, well, hoping for the next one, if there is one! (don't shoot me! lol I seriously saw an interview when they released Mylo Xyloto and Chris said it might be their last, that with all the new young bands coming up, he wasn't sure they would be relevent by the time they got another album together!) :shocked2:
