I was getting defensive because people were arguing back with me over something so small/pointless. I understand that people have different opinions, I just didn't see the point In arguing over something so stupid. And, i know, cobalt- yes, I do want it to go away/settle down, and it did. Until someone decided to start things up again. Personally, I would let it go when I see an argument has died down.

Yes, but when they come back and see that it's settled, why would they need to argue again? Even if they did have something else to say, I'd rather not argue:)

The thread is entitled 'the band members' and it was placed in the 'Coldplay' section.

Why bother starting a huge argument about something so pointless. I certainly do not use my age as a free pass thing, that's why I didn't mention it before coldplaymom asked. I know we both have different opinions, so I don't get why this whole thing has been escalated into something it never should have been, just because the thread was in the wrong place or something, see you may be getting frustrated at the fact I'm 'not understanding' or something, I do, it's just I've failed to keep interest because arguing over a thread, in my opinion is rather boring. I do get where your coming from, I always have, but like I've said earlier, I only reply to what I receive. I do not want to analyse each post And comment n full detail, and It may seem unacceptable but I fail to see the need in arguing about this anymore, I thought it might be the end of it in the last post.

Who said I would take it that way? I'm not showing lack of respect for her,mi don't even know her so how can I? It was what she said. It doesn't matter whether she is a global moderator or not, I'm sure she's brilliant at her job and whatnot but I only replied to what I received.

Oh and you say these posts replying/arguing back to us we're kind and constructive? The first argumental post we seemed to receive was from texasluvsjonny which had 'guessing she can't read or something' in it. And you blame me for saying 'this is ridiculous'? It is! And you thanked him for that post which was quite uncalled for, not to mention the post in the first place. This is what got us wondering what on earth we had done to make people angry by making this thread. 'guessing she can't read or something'. I mean, come on.

Urgh. Why is this being brought up again. The mention of our ages was uncalled for because it was kind of depicting what we said in a childish way. Infact, the mention of our ages should tell you just to let it go. I do not need to learn anything, I was angry because people were arguing and making comments about something so ridiculous. After the arguments, the thread got back on track and hopefully this would show you how the thread is useful. I believe the thread does belong in the 'Coldplay' section because it is entitled 'the band members'. I'm not making any effort in replying with super good arguments here, because it all isn't relevant anymore and I dont want to argue over a thread. What's the point.
