I've been stalking on this thread since page one, and... finally decided to make an account... so excuse my forum awkwardness. i'm not too familiar with them :P I'll admit I'm not particularly overjoyed with what buckin has done to my mind... :stunned: ...But nonetheless, i got this thought today while in the car and listening to fix you. Not to sound over-expectant, but... Wouldn't it make sense if the song were ever dedicated to Jonny once? What I really mean by this is, I wonder if Chris has ever sung this in concert and thought, "You know what, this song really reminds me of Jonny." to further expand, just look at the lyrics... (which i'm sure you all know by heart anyway ;) ) "When you try your best, but you don't succeed" Tried to be with him but it never really worked,perhaps? "When you get what you want not what you need" Maybe he wanted this hot model girlfriend (I mean really, what male celebrity doesn't?), and he got her... But maybe what he really needed the whole time was Jonny... It came to me earlier and I thought, "just maybe...." Has that song reminded anyone else of these two? Tell me if I'm making any sense.. :confused:
