I like the way you're going with that. They're a great live band. I don't listen to MX much anymore, just the live versions from Live 2012. When I first heard the rumors that it may be something like AROBTTH I was neutral, but I think I'd be pretty happy with that. Basically they've never done anything that I haven't really liked. Not to say they wont.. but I think whatever it is, I'll love it. There's just something about them. I'm just ready for some news! They can definitely rock. Violet Hill live compared to the CD version is almost like a different song for me, can't listen to it without headbanging. I'd be cool with more of that. These are my ramblings, thank you for humoring me.

To continue any possible links to Ghost Stories (not a great lead, but I'll take what I can get).. Maybe they posted Don't Panic in reference to Ghosts and then tweeted Talk today in reference to stories.

For some reason I just don't like the feel of "Random Acts" it doesn't seem to fit/ make sense to me. Ghost stories does much more, but I would agree that the story isn't super believable.

I really hate it for those of you who don't like MX, I think it's terrific. I even like (don't hate me) Princess of China. I agree with those who LOVED the xylobands, they were magic. I'll be happy to see them again. Just because something came from a previous era doesn't mean it hast to be thrown out. They're incredible. Maybe it'll be like the telephone. The phones we have now are very different from those that first came about. Coldplay's smart. I dont think they'll disappoint. Cheers.

I'll echo what someone said earlier in the thread... I think everything Coldplay does is better live, and that speaks really well of them. I've heard a lot of criticism of this album and really I don't understand it. My history with Coldplay started summer of 2011 when I bought AROBTTH, after getting acquainted with that album I bought the rest and was given MX that Christmas. I find all the albums to be incredible. I find that I'm especially partial to X & Y, I think it's great. But this album has marked and era of my life for me. I want to get MX tattooed on my arm or something because it means so much. The story that the album tells is beautiful, and the songs are spot on. I don't have any on the album that I don't like. I listen to MX at least every week and don't see any end in sight. It's up there with Coldplays work for me, I love it! Each to their own though! I do hope they take time out for the next album though. Artists like Gaga are over saturating fans with their stuff, it's more meaningful to take time off. Cheers to MX and cheers to LP6!

To my dear Coldplayers, I apologize for taking so long to update you on this show, but here we go. This was the sickest most incredible night of my life. That may be an understatement. Me and some friends drove up from Nashville and met more friends that live in CT. We got to New York early Sunday morning and walked around to see the city all day, it was great. I'd heard about the upgrade on here, and after talking to some of you to get advice, I got the whole group to make shirts. We got to the arena 15 minutes before the doors opened, and I was freaking out. My energy was out of the roof when I walked in, but by the time I got to my seats, it went down quite a bit. They were pretty bad. Upper level behind the stage, we had three of us in one section and 4 in another. Two groups of two of us went walking around the arena, while myself and two others stayed in the seats. I was talking to the girl I was sitting with and glumly told her that I didn't know what to do to to get the upgrade. She talked about how if anyone got it it would probably be the other three that got upgraded if anyone did. I said that it would be better if some of us got it rather than none of us. At that point, I looked down into the lower level and saw two from our group talking to a guy in a black T-shirt. I knew this what what we were supposed to be looking for. I grabbed her arm and said, "this is happeneing." Right then I made eye contact with those two in the lower level, they waved to us and started waving us down. I called one of them and asked if we got the upgrade and he said yes!!!! So I called the other two that were walking around and then we all ran down to meet the rest of the group. They were talking to a roadie, and when we got there he shook my hand and said, "so you're Brad? I hear you're the biggest Coldplay fan." I didn't say a word, but the rest of the group said I was. He then held out a ticket and said, "This ticket is the best seat in the whole arena, you're going to be closer to Coldplay than anyone else in the world tonight." I was speechless. I was in the front row in the corner seat right in front of Guy. This whole night was euphoric. During Viva when Chris looks under the little synthesizer that he plays, he held eye contact with me for a few minutes and waved at me. It was incredible. Best night of my life.

Has anyone found out what time the doors will open Sunday night? I know we had talked about it some before but wasn't sure if anyone knew. I called today and kept getting transferred to different automated messages, couldn't get any good info.

If the set-list isn't any different.. I'd be ok with that. I think they've hit the nail on the head with this tour. My dream of dreams would be to hear Swallowed in the Sea live, but that's a long shot. I'd be cool if they took GPASUYF out, not a big fan of that one. But hopefully it'll be the same. Glad to hear they'll have Xylobands, can't wait to see that beautiful display again.

I know this is complete speculation, but do you guys think this will be a MX tour show or something new. I'm really hoping for Xylobands, they were incredible. Any thoughts?

I'm making the road trip from Nashville for this show on the 30th. Me and six friends got tickets today through the internet presale behind the stage second level up. Not the best seats in the world, but that's alright, just glad to have tickets. I saw them in DC this summer and I was lower level behind the stage which was awesome. I will say, I REALLY hope they'll have xylobands at this show. Those of you who've gone know how truly incredible those are, so fingers crossed on that one for sure.

The only thing I'm genuinely bummed about on the setlist is that DLIBYH didn't make it.

Coldplay Film Anyone heard when this DVD will be out. My guess would be around Christmas time, but I have nothing to base that on. Also wondering if you think they'll make a live CD along with it. I know that they did with '03 but that they only put some of the songs on the CD. I hope they do the whole setlist on CD this time, I'd love to have current live versions of the songs. I can't wait to have this DVD and relive one of my best nights. Any news or thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated!

Hey guys, I just bought tickets the the second DC show on July 9th. My seats are behind the stage. I figured this was a huge gamble, but I want to go so it's worth it. Have any of you who've seen the show in an arena noticed what the seats behind the stage are like. Am I going to be behind a huge banner or will my view still be ok? Any help on this is appreciated as I'm nervous of not being able to see a thing. Thanks guys.

I'm hoping there will be more. I don't know many people here in Nashville that don't like Coldplay. They could sell out easily here.. they probably could in most places though.

Agreed, definitely a weird organization. I will admit, I'm used to getting every big tour coming through town so maybe I'm a little greedy. I just knew they came through here on the Viva tour, so I was hopeful that they'd be back to Nashville.
