  1. I like Radiohead. Really like them. I like their fearlessness in music.
  2. it's still great though :)
  3. I'm lovin' default! This is great!
  4. I'm not sure, you'd have to ask them, really. Wonder if they do make an album, what it'll be called.
  5. listening to a gary oldman podcast :)
  6. watching harry potter and the goblet of fire!:)
  7. ... Do you think Radiohead will ever make another album, cos they said they might just release singles. This question HAS been on my mind for some time.
  8. tommorow pass them by tomorrow pass them by
  9. I put people on a map That never seen a map I show them something they've never seen And hope they make it back
  10. getting more internet on me' dongle.
  11. I think each album of Radiohead's is a different state of mind. This one, I believe, is anxious searching.
  12. I really like Kid A. Like I said, I'm open to interpretation, and consequently, I'm not alienated, or even intimidated slightly, by their new sound. The lyrics are abstract but simple, and the music is deep, but sometimes dark. I do look into the songs as I can, but I also try to enjoy them. I think that's why it went to No.1 in the states - a new sound, so completely open to one's own interpretation.
  13. Still having lots of donuts left in the fridge after my birthday...and staying in my room, typing and watching The Dark Knight while eating them. But I shouldn't though because, because of yesterday... I'M HAVING A SUGAR HANGOVER!!!!!!
  14. I think it's all about interpretation really. Kid A will mean something different to each and every one of us. And it's with all albums, but especially one which confuses or gets you, I think. Kid A did this to me! But then you explore it and interpret it your own way, allowing you to understand it in a way which is just as valid as what the musician's ideas were when they were making it. That's my opinion, anyway.
  15. Ooo, busy bee burns, site owner....:shocked2: hello!
  16. one day maybe we will dance again under firy skies one day maybe you will love again love that never dies
  17. Sorry to interrupt, but the There Will Be Blood thing - I was particulaRLY upset about that. I don't really think it's fair, because all the 'unoriginal stuff' he uses is either his or a piece from a classical artist which he's put in because it fits, and he makes it his own! [Or maybe the people who decide just don't like Radiohead ] I know this is kinda different, but M.I.A.'s song Paper Planes was nominated for 'Best Song' at the Academy Awards I think (it was in Slumdog Millionaire), and that contains a sample of Straight To Hell by The Clash - I was surprised they didn't ban that from being nominated! But I don't wanna be malicious or anything, and I'm happy they didn't ban it, cos I like M.I.A.
  18. Well, after my new laptop not working (which made me sad) - getting a refund and instead repairing my old one, which now is like a new one!!!!
  19. Ok, thanks! OOo, I lovee christopher eccleston too! It's me lucky day...
  20. Here - I have another one. It's quite happy. I tried to use rhythm (using my biro as a metronome...!): It's called Euro-Hyper: There's light splattered all over the floor From rays fluttering, fluttering The warmth of these feet transcends and pours The toenails stuttering, stuttering Beyond swirling combustion of the mind From pure happiness eager to find Hyperactivity, an escalated, broken ballad; The shards recollecting, creating like ashes. It has a reference to one of my favourite songs - see if you can guess!
  21. what program is that? like film, TV...
  22. typing while the rain is POURING outside my window-it's a nice feeling, really. safeness (P.S. - I love Andrew Scott:)
  23. Wow. That's amazing!!!! The rhythm's...wow! You know, i wanna be a singer when i grow up...i want to sing your song! you'll get the royalties, promise... Here's another of my poems: (it's definitely a work - in progress) What was the unknown party I was about to talk just now? My dreams are hollow and erased And the future will erode them even more. What was the bubble of the dog Without the thought? My head is too strung out now And the endless racking of the dog will worsen it. too much repetition it bores all of me out all my thoughts dusty and too quick! ladies, gentleman, your repetition craftsman has gone and you take more of the same but now the rain is here and what was the bubble of the dog Without too much thought In your Dreams? it's a bit of a downer, this poem. i'm still working on it :)
