I don't know about the whole Show. :thinking: The skit with Emma, Andrew and Chris was too funny for words, I really had to laugh! All who didn't like it don't need to worry: didn't the moderator say in the end "they will never kiss like this again" ? ;) So cool down. :cool:

Okay, I see. :) Although I think there would be only a headline read if anything would be read at all, and maybe noticed the number of messages. So a big number of messages might be more impressive? First let me say a great idea, this album deserves more attention! Thank you for starting this thread. I could imagine if the deadline would be a little later we get much more answers... :thinking: lucilia If I had to flee or exile for whatever reason and could take only one CD with me I would take X&Y. Since I ever once listened to it completely I would not want to miss this, absolutely love to listen it in whole, somewhere outdoors, enjoy it like going through a course of emotions. I underline the term “masterpiece”, i.m.o. it seems an irreplaceable switch or link from the previous to the later works, where Parachutes (the album) is still visible and Paradise or even A Sky Full Of Stars do shimmer through already. Square One, What If, White Shadows, Low and Twisted Logic are some of my very favourites ever. Fix You is great, although to be honest I’m a bit tired of it only this gets the worthy attention, other X&Y tracks would also deserve to be more played live. Speed Of Sound live acoustic was amazing and recently ‘Till Kingdom Come in Cologne made me really look hopefully to the new era.

Don't worry, this was never an event for fans, neither for German nor other Coldplayfans at all. Maybe they can do some good footage there for DVDs or something, this I hope for.

haha, the lucky SWR3 winners people, they are aware of their situation and are prepared: They have papers with lyrics with them! Haha, one said it, he doesn't want to make a fool of himself when he is in first row and doesn't know any lyrics!! They were exercising Green Eyes! Or the radio station doesn't want to have the disgrace to Coldplay and they give you some lyrics sheets with the won ticket for free! Oh, what a fan meeting there!

No, not at the moment they said this. They were talking about when to do their usual radio program again. "Coldplay have left the building" is their code word on the radio station, when any encore broadcasting is over, Coldplay has "left the building" and SWR3 go on with their ads, news and so on :D They reminded it on Elvis, this was a sentence used for him and SWR3 made a lil quiz of it. "For whom were those words used either?" Don't ask me if there was anything to win, for sure no tickets anymore :lol:

Just the moderator on SWR3 said: The concert is planned until close to 6:00 pm local time, there will be no breaks for radio ads during the broadcast and IF Coldplay would do an encore, SWR3 would broadcast the daily news later.

I think you can commiserate thousands of german coldplayfans who really did not have a chance against more thousands of people who were lucky to call out of the radio station's broadcasting area. Meanwhile there's a word for it : "the-song-with-Rihanna-people" (Thank you cheetaz!) SWR3 did not make it necessary to have heard ever anything about Coldplay to win those tickets. So I don't think we can call this "majority" who has won those tickets "coldplay fans" by now. I don't doubt after the show they will be though! link To congratulate are 60 winners of a ticket. To get an impression about the chances for coldplayers (from forum) watch this thread: link There will be 12 more winners after a internet list, it is called "application", but the winners will be picked out by chance. The list is open for four days, seems SWR3 is afraid nobody will sign in there! :lol:

Nein, macht er wirklich nicht! Am Freitag Abend haben sie eine Runde Coldplay am Stück gespielt, da dachte ich noch das Oster-Wochenende wird ganz nett, mit der Verlosung. Aber die drei Tage und die schlauen Moderatoren Bemerkungen haben einem zum Schluss wirklich den letzten Nerv geraubt. Nach der letzten "Viva-Verlosung" hab ich sofort ausgeschalten.

Bei den Fans hat sich der Sender mit dieser Aktion nicht gerade beliebt gemacht. :(

Wie wahr! Das war fast nicht auszuhalten! Es war ja wirklich nachgeschmissen, man musste nicht einmal einen Song erkennen. Bei der Auswahl von scheinbar sage und schreibe 10 (!) verschiedenen Coldplay songs fuer alle drei Tage im Repertoire von SWR3 waere das schon noch zuzumuten gewesen.

Vielleicht verlosen sie beim Sender noch am Tag des Konzertes ein paar einzelne Tickets. Ein paar werden sie auch für Pressleute vewenden. WDR 1Live verlost am Tag des Konzerts in Köln noch Tickets (siehe thread 25-04-2014 , Cologne..) vielleicht noch eine Hoffnung SWR3 macht das auch noch ....:thinking:
