Cliff Burton :) he used to be the bassist for Metallica....but then their tour bus crashed on some black ice in Sweden, and he got crushed under it. then the "rescue" people dropped it on him again....so he didn't exactly live through it :cry:

Ben is the coolest. he's the "youth leader" at my church, but he's so much more than just that. he made me and i'm sure tons of other people around him feel accepted, wanted, and loved, when we felt more like no one wanted to even know we existed. he's done so much for so many people simply by approaching them and talking with them, listening and caring about what they had to say, i couldn't even start to tell you. i know i never have seen Jesus working through someone like that before, and i'll be extremely surprised [and blessed] to ever see it again. and now that so many people RIGHT HERE love him so much, he has to go away to college. he's 27 with a wife and 3 kids, and now [really soon though i'm not sure exactly when], he's going with them back to AUSTRALIA. to go to college. so probably four years. maybe longer. i'm pretty sure they'll be leaving late august or early september. now of course i want him to have whatever is best for him and his family. but i just wish he could get that without leaving, going so far away for such a long time. why him??? why the fuck him?? i've been crying just thinking about it, and my sister and basically everyone else who knows him have too. well sorry about that, i just really needed to get that off my chest. if you could pray for him and his family, and for us because we're all going to miss him so much, that would be really great. :cry:
