I dunno, you tell me EDIT: apparently, The holday season is "de feestdagen" in dutch and just holidays is "vacantie"

The Holidays is Christmas and stuff, as in "The holdiay season" Holidays is your time off school and stuff, when you go on holiday as in the american "vacation"
