  1. ^^very true
  2. when you right click to save the file it is called "squares" are they sure the album is not called Square One?
  3. anyway its all very exciting...... ya perhaps they will slowly take peices away until we see the code....hmm also the name of the album down the spine isnt there, so now this seems more artwork than the actual cover...
  4. maybe the grid was just an outline for the blocks i dont know, or just a clue to us hardcore fans as to what the hidden pattern is.........now when a regular joe looks at the thing without the grid and dotted line, they will see blocks and no pattern.........
  5. yes they put more effort into it, and it is much more interesting and appropriate to the song.
  6. Low

  7. ya or a behind the scenes documentary of making x&y
  8. the artwork has changed! http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15785
  9. i know they dont think this way, but i mean if you spend more time on the album and make it better it should sell more, so in turn that is more money.....
  10. just a mistake i think!
  11. Now on the official site there is no grid, and the red dotted line bit has dissapeared, now it is just blocks!
  12. oooooohhhh Jan I really appreciated the wave :) !
  13. ya no need to expect it before the 18th ........... thanks!
  14. well the chord progression is similair, but really i hate when people compare songs. Each song has a differnet meaning, feeling, energy, origin, pace, skill.........everything is unique per song, and that is the great thing about coldplay. I dont think the comparison is a valid one at all.
  15. so i just deleted all of the live songs.......i will not have anything from the new album now until the single, and then the album. I will still hum along to white shadows and square one in my head, but not listen again until album. I will go to the local store and buy it, not listen to it at all until i get home, and then I will jump up and down with excitement while listening to it over and over. Ive already booked the day off from work! :(
  16. they have both clips on the official website
  17. after going over the lyrics i must say i think this song has the best lyrics of any coldplay song yet....all very clever and relevant, no filler here. I commend you Sir Martin. I think it has to do with the history of the earth "to show how it all began" and what humans have done to it "all the buildings you put up" "japan and china were all lit up" But i dont remember the 18th.........however that would make sense, not too early.
  18. Square One has a gnarly bass line, you can especially here it after the second verse..... Square One Daylight Clocks
  19. i bet you love playing daylight ;) i do
  20. where did you hear the 18th?
  21. its soooooooo much money too.......bloody casinos
  22. lol just dont go to the las vegas show
  23. see i just asked my friend and she said it looks like a bottle. and then she said wait, a street with houses......then she said well x&y can be variables, so perhaps this picture represents that because there are squares with no colour and such so you can in your mind make it what you want, thus the variables.... so see it is very creative and gets people thinking..........and honestly if you saw that amongst the gangsta and boy band covers you would stop and look. it stands out.
