i saw them in detroit last night, same set (we had swallowed in the sea and trouble) I would have loved to have heard the Hardest Part (single :( ) and Green Eyes, not the two that got played unfortunately for me. I really hope they play twisted logic soon, they have to by the end of the tour

personally i thought trouble was the weakest performance of the set, probably because they only played half of it. :(

well for some reason 5 words just seems perfect to me, maybe because its a new album and any number would work but 5 just fits. Although when they get in the studio and write new stuff I'm sure Chris will change his mind at somepoint. I love how they tell us how many words its sort of fun. And for How You See The World, I know that they love this song and regret leaving it off the last album, and when I saw them last night the song was f'ing amazing live. NEW ALBUM YAY!

SQUARE ONE POLITIK YELLOW SPEED OF SOUND GOD PUT A SMILE X&Y HOW YOU SEE THE WORLD DON'T PANIC WHITE SHADOWS THE SCIENTIST TIL KINGDOM COME RING OF FIRE TROUBLE CLOCKS TALK SWALLOWED IN THE SEA IN MY PLACE FIX YOU if you saw the band on the first leg of the tour, the show is very different on this leg. Most of the lighting and video displays have changed, with amazing new ones for Fix You and Clocks. How You See The World was AMAZING live, I hope it is the single that they bring out the DVD too. Chris almost got mugged running back to the stage at full speed after he was at the back for In My Place. White Shadows was probably the best received song, everyone around me was loving it. Chris said he is finally getting his hair cut, but a new hairdresser, and so he's nervous it might be the final days of coldplay, but then he played "Dont Panic". They cut Trouble short which was a shame, and in fact the entire set seemed to be a little quick. And usually Chris changes a line in Politik, but he didnt this time. Also he got lines mixed up quite often in Swallowed In The Sea and God Put A Smile Upon Your Face. Speed Of Sound was really improved performance compared to the way they used to do it too. It was nice to see Guy with some Moracca's, and also Jonny playing in the center of the stage with chris on the right and guy on the left for about three songs. Can I ramble any longer? Fionna Apple was pretty good, but came on the stage right after the doors opened and her set went fairly quickly. If anyone has her setlist I would appreciate it. Great show, well worth the 5 hour drive each way. PS. They STILL haven't played twisted logic! :cry:

im here i didnt even go to the show, great pic especailly the first one!

they always said the first three albums was a trilogy, so throw together a greatest hits and add how you see the world and a couple of old new ones that didnt make the album, and release it as cd/dvd concert/greatest hits

and everyone has to remember they all have families, not just chris!

the b-sides better out do the a-side and dont rule out them doing 5 singles this album

Whoa!!! Mad props for the dedication. Yeah...that's pretty much insane. I guess if they were playin down here for a week straight I'd do the same. But that's nuts...props up. Thanks, ya I'm so excited and yes it is insane, but I didnt really plan it that way. I bought the Coldplay tickets of course, and then like 2 months later bought Arctic Monkeys ones. Only to find out the NEXT DAY that they were opening for Oasis, but I wouldn't mind seeing them twice. It is going to be one amazing week, ill be a temporary Toronto resident.

Well I am not really worried just more confused. How can they say they are taking a break and also putting out a 4th album all next year? The only thing I can thing of is if they put out a greatest hits album, in which case it is already mostly written. I think it's just Chris speaking out again, you never can trust what he says, I mean if they really do take time I know it will only be for a little while becuase all 4 of them have this insane drive to be the best band in the world and put out the best music. I think Chris is just a little upset after not winning a grammy, and now determined to work harder than ever to put out their best album. remember they said the first 3 albums were a trilogy, so its only fitting they do a greatest hits and then move on with the next one! This uneasyness will make me have to take in the concerts on this tour even more, may be the last ones for a while. :cry:
