  1. I'm feeling a little Christmas Lights.. but the production revolves around their existing setlist, so I doubt they'll change it significantly. Maybe a song or two different. NYE on the other hand, that could get interesting ;)
  2. Tried to keep it simple this time: :) :) I'm so excited I can't even sleep!!
  3. I did the back side of my t-shirt today. Never realized how difficult it was to spray paint clothing, haha. Let's just say I made a mess!
  4. 226 was also about $117. I hope I don't end up being too far to the side. Barclays is nice because it is built for basketball, not hockey like most large arenas. The seats are much closer.
  5. You can always wait for the inevitable ticket drop on ticketmaster sometime this week if you want to pay face. They have lots of seats in that "platinum" tab that will surely go unsold and will be released into the general pool at face value. Good luck!!
  6. Typically for US shows on the MX tour, they would release some tickets either the day before or the day of the show. Most times I noticed it happening at about 11am-1pm the day of. StubHub can be a little sticky for concerts. After years of working at concert venues in box offices, I see the same scams time after time with the printable TicketFast tickets. Scalpers can resell multiple copies of those PDF tickets, so generally the first person that arrives gets in, whereas the others get turned away because the ticket barcode has already been scanned. If you want to buy from StubHub, try to order hard tickets (ones that are not shipped electronically) as those tend to be harder to commit ticket fraud with. I would personally wait for Ticketmaster to release some because there is a good chance they will. It's beyond the safest way to go. I wouldn't want you to buy StubHub tickets, get to the concert, and get turned away because of fraud :( Anyways, good luck! I'll be at this concert too :) soooo excited!
  7. LOL. Side note, I really hope they play Christmas Lights. That song is beautiful.
  8. TD Garden and Verizon Center both opened at 6! Hmm.. maybe we could ask on the Barclays Center twitter? They seem to be very responsive to questions.
  9. Probably 6 because I believe the show starts at 7. But I'll be in line at 5:30 :D
  10. A fantastic read for all those interested in the technical side of things on the Mylo Xyloto tour. http://www.digico.biz/docs2/articles/DiGiCo_SD7_Coldplay_TPi_October2012.pdf This was published in the TPi magazine. It includes a TON of photos of various crew members that we never hear about, and the stories that go with them.
  11. Gut feeling it's going to be very unique. Maybe kind of like Paralympics Closing Ceremony, in a way. I wouldn't rule out a few surprises (maybe Rihanna, Beyonce, Kanye West). Anything could happen! The fact that Xylobands are included makes this even better.
  12. This concert is probably going to be so different, so special, and so mind-blowing. I cannot wait another DAY for it.
  13. Unless you have to take the PATH train to New Jersey which used to run 24 hours, but it received major damage after Sandy so right now it closes at 10 every night and there are no backup buses in its place. Hoping that changes soon!
  14. Oh boy, right now the PATH only operates until 10pm. They better restore 24-hour service in a month or I'm really screwed.
  15. I'll be staying with friends in Newport (Jersey City) over the entire holiday weekend. What will be the best way to travel between there and Barclays via public transportation? Thanks in advance for your help -- I find the MTA website very intense, and I think advice from a local is the best.
  16. 213 Row 2. It's almost a head-on view of the stage, and its a really low row. I like that view better than stage right or stage left seats.
  17. There's a pretty good chance there will be some available in the days leading up to the concert. That's when they release all the unused band/venue/promoter holds. If you're too impatient though, stubhub is the only option :( I feel like a majority of the tickets were sold via presale, so that's why it seemed like there were none available this morning.
  18. Definitely reusing and adding to my shirt that got me upgraded last time. Also, I plan on throwing some DayGlow paint on myself in MX Graffiti fashion, and wearing a hat covered in butterfly confetti from previous shows.
  19. Taylor Swift went on sale in a ton of cities this morning, so I think it caused a lottt of issues with the website. I couldn't get an order through until 10:45!
  20. So I got two tickets behind the stage in Section 120. They are SO expensive! I don't get why they are only $60 in NYC for behind the stage, and $110 in CT. No idea if I'm even gonna go... I'm already going with friends in NYC so they won't wanna go again haha. Heck, I'd go with another Coldplayer who wants to go solo!
