I have promised myself that i am not going to download any of the new Coldplay songs at all. I am going to wait until the album and the single comes out to hear the songs. Anyways, I am really curious about the song What If. I have heard it is so good. Is it really one of their best songs and if so why? Thanks

i've never heard of the news that says the song is an 8 minute masterpiece. I have heard 8 minute songs before. Freebird anybody?

Is the song X&Y really 8 minutes long? That would be amazing but I have never heard such a thing. Can somebody confirm this?

I have two things to talk about. One is about X&Y, the song. If it really is an 8 minute anti-war anthem that would be awesome. I am very curious on where this info came from. Can anybody tell me? Another thing is, whatever happened to the song The Hardest Part, is it still on the album or no? I am very excited to hear What If though. It sounds like a great song, I just cant wait to listen to this album.

I'm totally in for this. If you dont hear all the songs before the album comes out it is better. The experience is better when you first hear the album and I want it to be as best as possible. Now that I think about it I am kind of glad Talk is not on the album. Its a great song but its better that its a b-side. Right now I havent heard anything from the new album and I am going to keep it like that until a song hits the radio and until the album comes out. I promise that!

According to Mtv.com the single comes out on April 18th. This would be awesome because I am beginning to become very anxious. Perhaps the single cd comes out on May 23rd. All i know is I hope we can hear the single soon, i think it will come out before May 23rd. Either way I cant wait for the album.

I have a whole cd of b-sides. 18 songs to be exact and my search is pretty much over except for Ladder to the Sun. Does anybody have it and if so please send it to me at [email protected] If you guys dont have it, just please explain to me how the song goes. Like if its piano or guitar and just the main feel to it. Thanks

i am so excited for the new album. The only thing i find odd is that June 6th is a Monday and not a Tuesday. Can anybody explain this?

In regards to talk being the single, I would have to say no. Is it single worthy? It sure is but I dont think the band would release it as a single for two reasons. One it has been leaked and releasing a leaked single isnt the best idea. And it just in my opinion isnt a good first single. Dont get me wrong, the song is great but Coldplay wants to make a huge impression with this album. The first single is the foot right in the door. From all the buzz I've heard, I'll go with square one as the first single. It's either that or something we dont know at all. We have waited a long time for this, the wait will soon be over. If you can believe it or not when the album comes out it will have been 34 months since AROBTTH. That is a really long time and I can't wait. We probably have another month before they release the single so lets patiently wait and we will be all happy when that time does come.

i think its good to get our minds off the forthcoming coldplay album. Before we know it, it will be here and we will all have tons of things to talk about but in the meantime what do you guys think is the best lyric on the arobtth album?

out of curiosity, i find myself amazed that there are no new songs online. I might be wrong and if I am please tell me so but i find it inevitable that new songs will go online in the next few weeks. Has anybody heard anything though?

does anybody really like the yellow piano version. I love it. I find that it is sometimes better than the real version. It depends on what mood your in.
