  1. To everyone who happen to land on this post, please refer to the above forum about the same topic. I don’t know how to discontinue a discussion/forum, so I guess this one will just stay as is. See you all on the first one created discussing coldplay and bird references. I will join the discussion there too. Thanks @yoyo2000 for the notification. You are amazing...! 2. Oh, I didn’t know there was already one. Time to close this specific shop. This question is already answered. :) Thank you! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I’ll bring up their most obvious bird-titled song for a starter. From LP7/AHFOD, the song “Birds”. [emoji4]
  4. Birds may be the most used word/highly referenced in Coldplay songs, next to “If u never try, u’ll never know”. Can we identify all the songs & lines on which they are referenced?
  5. It’s okay...! Coldplay music is universal. It’s for all genders. :) That’s a funny movie by the way. Kelly Clarkson!!! Lol...! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. So here’s for a first post per this specific topic. The pics below were taken from an iphone game app called “Sniper 3D”. While they referenced a band called “Cooldplay”, we know who they are obviously referring to. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Some Good, Some Neutral, Some Bad... Bottomline, Coldplay is on their minds. They can’t help themselves but talk about the band, or piggyback off their success by making references about them. Their lives are affected (by Coldplay). Yes, they just can’t admit that they do love Coldplay! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. FYI Collectors: ebay’s Cagamandurrio is now Bexooooo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. This is in reply to both... :) One has Shiver, and the other - Trouble. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Hi, @iranaway! Yes... but not of a regular thick vinyl. Just a flexible vinyl sheet. See below: The Beatles used to release/giveaway flexi-discs to members of their fan club every Christmas from ‘63 through 69. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Thought so too... but these two changed that notion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Here are a couple of Coldplay Flexi discs /Postcards. I’m not a proponent of bootlegs, but they do look good. Sounds okay too. This may be the next project of the ever so resourceful scammers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. More of the rare discs that were featured in the mag... (The one below is a very rare french x&y promo. I’ve only seen it once in all my years of collecting.) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. And then, the Clocks counterpart of that promo (not featured in the mag), which is just equally amazing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Here’s the In my Place Promo and its picture as featured in the mag...! :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. That’s okay. I know which one now. Cool addition! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Oh, You mean the belgium one? Or the other embossed type (with larger cover) french promo? Do you have a picture? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Which one? Cool! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Happy to help! Congratulations on your growing collection! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Hello everyone! My first post after another long hiatus. Yes. This promo is legit. [emoji4] The other neat thing about it is that it is also featured in the Record Collector’s magazine where Coldplay was featured. That mag has an extensive list of Coldplay releases up to that specific era when the mag was released anyway. They also included/featured few cds that may as well be bootleg - being that they were released from the common countries that we all know are notorious for making greatest hits and compilation albums. 21. Yes, it just makes for a cool promo cd... :) By the way, as for uploading, I’m so sorry - I work on my iPhone for this forum 100% of the time, so no ability to upload music files. I am still working on getting a vinyl player that converts format to mp3, so I can also upload the “Coldplay, Elvis, and John Cage” track - as requested via the other Collector’s thread. Eventually, I will find time to do that...! :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Hello there, I ran away...! The 90 second edit is literally from the album track, but faded out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Hello there, MarckozZ...! Just posting this quick note to let you know that I am still working on your request. I still don’t have the vinyl to mp3 option, so I recorded the whole 20min. track via my iPhone camera/video - only to find out that such specific type of file cannot be uploaded through the tapatalk app. Will try another option again sometime. Until then...! Have a great weekend! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. That’s cool, Rece...! It’s a nice addition to the collection, right? To be honest, you have actually explored the mag more than I have mine. You are a more worthy owner of a copy of it...! [emoji4] I concentrated on the disc, without even thinking to browse through the pages. Lol...! Good memories of big servings of Ice Cream comes along with that...! Yum Leatherby’s! Thanks for introducing that place to me! Enjoy your new Coldplay treasure! Looking forward to your collection pics update! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
