What irritates me the most about the Church is its bubble gummy AHFOD production. And they placed it right after the serious and classical Sunrise instrumental.

My Favorites: Sunrise, Trouble In Town, Daddy, When I Need A Friend, Champion Of The World. My Least Favorites: Church, WOTW/POTP, Eko.

Church, WOTW/POTP and Eko are my least favorites.

Couldn't disagree more on "When I Need a Friend", it's my favorite song on this album and it's all about the choir.

Church and WOTW/POTP are the weakest tracks on this album.

The entire album could have done without any voice memos tbh.

Yeah, Daddy is a really good song.

WOTW/POTP sounds like Chris just messing around with a guitar.

At least Broken has an interesting sound. "Goldrush" vibes from that song.

"Church" might be the weakest song on this album.

"When I Need A Friend" without that voice recording at the end would have been an incredible album closer (even though its technically still a closer but only for "Sunrise" part of the album), up there with "Up With The Birds".

"When I Need A Friend" sounds like an entrance to heaven and it has "the end is near" feel of "The Escapist".

Sunrise, Daddy, Arabesque, Trouble in Town, Champion of the World and When I Need a Friend are all great songs.

Great to hear that some unreleased stuff from Viva era have been used on this record.

MX is a much better album than AHFOD.

Concerts of AHFOD era were great but it's still my least favorite Coldplay album.

"Old Friends" is straight from Parachutes, "Church" is straight from AHFOD while "When I Need a Friend" is one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever released by Coldplay.

Sunrise, Daddy and When I Need a Friend are my three favorites.
