Keep in mind that we're going to hear strings and drums on the new album. I think the band are trying to experiment again. I don't know how that will sound but i'm real excited about it. Rik said they will have synthesizers on the new album as well. I know the band won't revisit their old style but for me a song that has a good balance of synthesizers and pop is square one. If they could find the balance like they did on that song, then this album should be great.

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams" Yeah, probably. If this album is as good as chris says it is then they'll probably reveal the album artwork with a release date, hopefully.

I'm real bummed we don't get any updates on the new album. [emoji22] no snippets or track names. It would be a relief to hear or see something. Hopefully next month, we'll get something. It would be awesome if the band shares something on the 4th of july, even though they don't celebrate it.

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams" Yes viva is the best album i've heard as well, their best cd in my opinion. They have masterpieces on every album not just arobtth. Their lyrics have gotten dull and kind of drab. I do like the fray. They're good even though they're repetitive. Haha.

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams" They have had already had great potential with X&Y and Viva. The reason coldplay's style changed is because they don't want to sound the same throughout their career . The band themselves said that repeating themselves would be boring. If coldplay wouldn't change their style, they would sound like the fray. Of course they can create similar masterpieces but they aren't going to do that. Not for a head full of dreams at least. Maybe for their eighth album.

That would be cool.

They don't have a release date for it yet.

It's because Coldplay has been the most well known alternative rock band in the last 15 years.
