I'd say a sky full of stars, midnight and princess of china. I don't think they're bad i just they're i don't listen to them too often.

I don't think it'll be like mx at all. I think the album will be influenced by a-ha's hunting high and low.

I'm excited because it's always a surprise with coldplay. They never make the same album twice. I'm super excited for ahfod.

Of course GS was more centered on chris more than any other album.

chris has been leaning toward radio pop these days. We all know that.

I'm pretty sure a head full of dreams will have more of the band included.

Even if coldplay makes more pop music, it won't be bad. They can't make bad music. [emoji2]

If the band found a perfect balance of rock and pop, then it should be great. Either way, i don't really care.

Viva la vida has some heavy songs too, 42 and Yes are very difficult to sing. Chris changed his falsetto to a lower register and that must've been tough on his voice.

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams" A lot of it had to do with producer ken nelson. He helped produced almost the whole album. They didn't like the production he made on the album. In my opinion, i think the band felt they went nowhere with the album, they felt the album wasn't better than arobtth but the same, no better, no worse. They didn't expand their sound, in my opinion, I think it is better. After all these years though, X&Y is miles better than GS or MX in my opinion.

Good point. Some instruments do overlap others and sometimes it's hard to hear a real signature sound.

Ghost stories was a great album.

It's always a surprise with coldplay. I'm excited to see what the band does next. Coldplay doesn't make bad albums, they can't make a bad song. Sure their albums are DIFFERENT but they're not BAD by any means. I love them all. True Love for example is now in my top favorite coldplay songs ever. Davide rossi's worked on a few tracks for the band too and with added horns, it's going to be very interesting.
