Too bad you didn't, TLo, you definitely would have gotten some tickets and not only is it the first show on this leg but you could come meet me and Mary. Well, if Mary ends up coming here...but that's besides the point.

*joins Mary in a dance of joy for MEEEE*

I thought a ton of people would get pre-sale emails...is it really that rare?

  • Author

yes it is, i was on the official board ranting and noticed alot of people never got seattle presale emails. so you are one of the chosen few. :wink3:

from all the complaining happening here and on the coldplay forum.. it doesnt seem like a lot of people got them..

it wouldve been nice to go to a coldplay concert with diehard fans! *sigh*

Well, if it is that rare I guess this calls for three "woot's", so...

[glow=red:9b3abea822]WOOT WOOT WOOT!!!![/glow:9b3abea822]

Absolutely, TLo, and we are definitely die hard. I'm happy I have pre-sale tickets for Seattle but I'm shooting to go to a few other shows in other cities. I hope I can get some for Vancouver and LA area.

Hmm...I feel bad now...sorry to the people who didn't get the email.

hahaha don't feel bad. u should rejoice! i would be SO happy right now if i got a presale email.

im definitely still going to go the as many concerts as i can.. it just wont be as amazing because i'll be oh so far away.

yeah lucinda, dont feel bad, we are happy for you! This way we know that at least one true die hard fan got a presale invite. ;)

You're right, I should be celebrating...and I am! I'm eating a Lunchable again and if that isn't a celebratory meal, I don't know what is!

I'm determined to get good seats this time. The one concert I went to, I was stuck on the lawn behind a man who was 6'4'' and determined to jump in my way. Mind you, I'm barely 5'3'' so I could barely see past his big ole head. I wonder who early I should get to the venue so I can be right up front. Anyone have any tips?

That is an excellent question and unfortunately, I have no idea. I didn't visit the site because if I do, I'll just end up feeling bad that I won't have the funds until Friday afternoon. But I'm sure there will be, from what I can remember, Key Arena is pretty big. I think...

I'm listening to "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" by Chris...wow...wow...wow...really getting me into the holiday mood. It's probably the most beautiful version I've ever heard in my entire life.

And thanks for the true congrats...although I do feel bad for the others who didn't get the email, I am still REALLY happy. At least one of the die hard fans are getting pre-sale tickets! And no worries, those tickets aren't going to show up on ebay or anything. I'll be guarding those suckers with my life.

ahah I know you will use them wisely. As for getting there early, if you have GA I would get there as early as physically possible. I went at 6am to a show where doors didnt open until 6pm and I was right in front of Jonny. I have been upfront to every GA show I have ever been to. I am very patient. One time it was 20 degrees out and I waited for 10 hours before the show and two hours after. It was so cold and I thought I had hypothermia but it was totally worth it. ;)

That's the problem, I'm really IMpatient. I don't know if I can get there at 6am, I usually don't go to bed til 5am...bah...I still have some time to figure it out. Besides that, downtown Seattle isn't a place I want to be sitting alone at 6am. Hmm...gotta start in on that plan soon. If you're there, at least I'll have someone with me. If so, I'll make sure to be there early. Wow...it'd be amazing to be right in front of them though...

I really truly hope I can come. It is wierd being in line for that long especially if it is in the downtown of a large city but I am sure other fans will be lining up early this time around. Its not hard for the time to go by fast especially with all the excitement. It would be fun. I have always had fun waiting around because you can meet other fans and you all have something in common. Coldplay luv!

I know, it'd be awesome if you could. If not, I could get my mace ready and start on my kung fu training! :D The more I think about it, the more I want to wait in line. But we'll see...like I said:

big city, downtown area=not so good of an idea

  • Author

yeah i probably wouldnt do it alone. if other fans had already started to wait in line I would, but I have done it before. It is going to be totally different waiting outside of a stadium though. God knows which door to go into or what line to get in. Seems a bit crazy to me. I hope its not so confusing as all that.

Get there 2 weeks early and you'll be first in the line    :dozey:

I would totally do that if I didnt have a job, but if I didnt have a job I wouldnt have the money for tickets and then I would be in another viscious cycle. Life is so unfair. lol

Ha, first in line to be arrested for bumming my arse outside of Key Arena!

Seattle's an odd place...

shiver.......

  • Author

well you better get used to the cold, because if you wait outside all day you will be freezin. I am so happy for you. I hope that you get the best seats.

yea don't freeze to death.....

I'm already half-way to freezing to death. My bedroom has no insulation and my fingers are so cold, I can't feel myself typing. I will not give in and turn on the heat. I refuse to pay to be warm, dammit!

dont be tight on your heating bill, after all you're health is more important!!!
