i hate the way how some people in this country miss out letters when they speak for example they say laer instead of later :angry: really gets my goat!

mmhh.... i have to find why people do that!

.... if someone picked up on your accent (assume you had one) and started speaking like you. I ask this because I happen to have this bad habit of doing just that. I dont do it intentionally, it just happens... my ear picks up on it... and I start to speak with the accent. It could be any accent really.. but lately.. I find myself speaking with it.. and no one is even around for me to pick up on it... (did that make sense?) Anyhoo.. someone told me it was a form of flattery.. but I'm just curious to know what others think...

Austrailian

English (from various parts of the country I might add)

Boston (yes, the city :embarrased: )

Jamaican (when I lived in Miami)

Cuban (same as above)

I don't think that is rude at all! I always laugh at people right in front of their face! Now that is rude! :stunned: and then it makes me laugh more when they notice and they get all upset :lol: :lol: :lol: I just can't control it... :/ :confused:
