Rumours are circulating that COLDPLAY, FRANZ FERDINAND, REM and DAVID BOWIE will play at next year’s COACHELLA FESTIVAL. The Californian festival traditionally take place at the end of April or early May at Empire Polo Field, Indio, California and last year saw performances from Pixies and Radiohead. According to Australian website Undercover, next year’s event will take place on April 30-May 1, and also feature Nine Inch Nails, The Streets, PJ Harvey, Polyphonic Spree, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Doves and Tears For Fears, amongst others. I would much rather see Coldplay alone at a real Coldplay concert than to see them at a festival sharing the bill with bands that i may not like.
