how did you got the tshirt signed, i have the same tshir plus the one from the earlier part of the tour. i am going to the boston show tom... :D

does anyone know what they were filming for?

 

i checked out the cameras, and they were HD cams....

Full concert is to be aired on muchmusic June 5th.

i was also told by an employee that there will be a DVD release, but he didnt say whether it was going to be all buzz gigs or just the Toronto one.

 

As for the signed shirt, well Chris and Jonny decided to pop by the line and say hi, take a few pictures, and sign some things...i got a couple album covers signed :D

p.s. the show was UNBELIEVABLE! new stuff rocked, literally, it had a much more rock feel to it, and the old stuff was just amazing to hear live, i absolutely loved it!

Yeah, they got out of their Chevie Suburbans around 13:00 and some girl went like OMG it's Chris! And everyone got up and tried to look for them. They didn't go right to the crowd at first, and actually walked towards Queen's Quay St. (ugliest street in the world) and a bunch of girls and guys started running after them. They got informed that they were doing an interview and would be back.

 

So about 30-40 minutes later, they walk back and Chris and Jonny come over, and Chris is like "what do you want?" in a funny way, and then there were all these girls screaming out and being really pushy, trying to get photos with them, and getting things signed. It was cool cause one girl got her Ipod signed, another girl got her shirt signed, CD's etc. I was standing at the front (like RIGHT at the front, as in we were first in line) and he came by and basically thanked us for being at the front. Signed a few of our things, and we smiled a lot, but didn't take any photos because Chris was pretty adamant about not getting photos taken ("I look like shit!"). Nonetheless, a few people got their photos taken (what a sweet guy) and then Chris left. Jonny stuck around for a little more, signed a few more things, but the black British bouncer guy was like we've got to go! and so Jonny relinquished and then that was the end of it.... :(

I doubt it. If they're so anal about their new album being leaked on the web...why would they allow MM to show a concert before the CD is even released? I'll believe it when I see it and if it is another dvd to be "sold"...then like I said, Coldplay have really "gauged" their fans and have sold out...at least they've become like U2 in that sense!!!!

ahhh nice, i've been so lucky with coldplay concerts. the last one was recorded by some radio station so i got a copy of that and now this one i'll be able to record!

 

i ended up in line at a quarter to six and was right at the front. best view. it was fantastic.

 

my friend emily's sister made this little shirt for apple and during yellow emily tossed it at chris and we were so psyched to see him snatch it.

 

oh man, chris' energy yesterday was incredible. such a showman.

 

and WARNING SIGN!!! ahh, my favourite coldplay song EVER. it sounded so beautiful.

 

i can't believe how much they didn't care about cellphones and digital camera's. i was so angry that i boycotted the idea of bringing either because i kept hearing about them confiscating stuff at other gigs. boo-urns.

 

it was such an amazing show though. if anyone is at all jealous, you have a right to be. that was beyond fantastic.

oh yeah and i like how their lil' ambience intro music cd skipped. i wonder if they'll show that in the much music special!

Justine - If you scroll up there is a link to the City TV / Much Music Press Release detailing the airtimes and everything. It is pretty exciting. The story is true. I just can't believe they gave Much permission for that! Awesome! :D

i was there it was a great night. i got there at 10, second group of people in line. When the jonny and chris came by the first time chris said hi guys and i stupidly waved back and said hi..no one else in the line even noticed as i was standing and they were all sitting playing cards. I was facing the building, and they just walked out in a group and when chris spoke (while looking at me) i froze. It was sily...then later that girl saw them as they were walking off. They later came back and i shook both of their hands. The show was great, i had my hand on a drum stick but got pushed over at the end. I have a silly request, but i want to compile the setlist in pictures. One picture taken during each song. If anyone can send me a song picture pelase email to [email protected] Overall it was the best night of my life, the new songs really did rock. If anyone saw me i was wearing a blue and white striped soccer jersey. I got interviewed by much and jen hollet.

That WAS you then! I was right in front of you, not Chau, the short asian boy with the shorts, but the taller one one with jeans. The one who kept on going OMG the entire time with the marking down of the hours on the barricade....hahaha, that explains why you had to go pick up your tickets! You and your guest list!
