Any advice on how to make a video avatar/sig? I have a few clips from a Coldplay concert I wouldn't mind using.

Yes, it doesn't belong in the Multimedia :) or what do you mean? :confused: You want a moving avatar like mine or you want to upload some videos of the Coldplay concert? :huh:

you have to get screen captures from a video and make a .gif using a program like photoshop. if you're like me and you don't have photoshop which obviously you don't then i would use GIMP but there's a lot of stuff you'd have to understand before you made one which you obviously don't know because you said: a video avatar/sig even though it's not a video, it's just an animation. in other words, you don't want to waste your time trying to figure it out and then making one. unless there's freeware somewhere that could do it for you... but i wouldn't know about that

you could convert the movie to a .mov file and open it in the program Imageready and it'll make it a .gif for you...

 

you can send me the file and I could make it a GIF. :)
