i would like to know specs, like what kind of pick ups and why its limited edition.

that is a basic epiphone les paul. i have the custon epi les paul, but that is completely different, actually i cant be sure that it is the BASIC epi les paul, but im pretty sure.

If you look at the tiger eye finish (except not the tiger eye color) thats probably why its limited.

That guitar is beutiful

Gibson/Epiphone - Fender/Squire

I actually talked to a guitar salesman today about the difference between the Gibson line, and the Epiphone line. This theory is the same for Fenders vs Squires.

The Epiphones are actually made in Asia, and they use cheaper pots and wiring which is why they cost much less than the Gibson brand. He also mentioned that a Gibson Les Paul will typically only have about four sets of hands building it from start to finish, whereas an Epiphone will see about 35-40 employees build it in more of an assembly line fashion.

I'm not trying to rip on your Epi, it looks like a very nice piece and I'm sure it sounds great too. I just happen to stumble onto this thread and wanted to pass on what I learned today. As mentioned earlier, the same holds true for the Fender and Squire line. The Squires are built overseas, and the Fenders are built right here in the USA.
