Online Gaming (Help Needed!!!)

Featured Replies

in about 10 days or so i should have my broadband up and running, but i would like to play online games through my ps2,since my version is older i need to buy a network adapter for it.But the thing i really want to know is,is there any charges involved in online gaming or is it for free?? I live in Ireland so I dont know if its different rules for different countries or what?So if this is the case any Irish users advice would be great;y appreciated also.I only really want play one game online anyway and thats Pro evolution Soccer 5 because its the best football game and i fancy my chances against anyone which is why i wanna go online.

Thanks in advance for any help!!

Broadband is broadband... all it does is give you high speed internet access at speeds where you can play these 'role playing games'.

The games are normally located on high spec servers in the UK/US that you connect to through a domain name like onlinefooty.com (ok that one I made up).

What you get charged depends on the game you want to play and if it's a subscription service, but it won't be on the phone bill, that's for the line rental, and you'll have a seperate bill for the broadband.
