May 21, 200323 yr Who was at the Edmonton Show? What a night. There were about 4000+ fans piled into the Shaw Centre with bodies totally squeezing every space to the stage. "The Music" did a killer intro for the night...and the wait until Coldplay was worth it. They played all the greats (leaving "Trouble", "Clocks" for the encore), with a new intro to "Yellow", including "Amsterdam", and doing a great rendition of "you're the one I love". Oh...and the harmonica solo was great! Backstage people handed out some back stage passes like they were candy. Unfortunately, I missed receiving one. I know two different groups of people who received passes by being Chris' waiter and shoe salesperson. And yes, he did wear the hiking boots he bought in Edmonton. Both the waiter and the shoe salesperson did NOT know who Chris was, and he got a real kick out of that...so he gave them passes. Must have been nice. I want to know what other Edmontonians thought of the show, and if anyone knows where to get the MP3 (the show was broadcast live). WHAT A NIGHT...how can I sleep?
May 21, 200323 yr So sleep deprived. I don't know what thread I'm in. I didn't know Chris bought shoes in Edmonton. That's cool! :)
May 21, 200323 yr Oh...and the harmonica solo was great! Did Jonny throw his Harmonica into the audience again.... :D
May 21, 200323 yr Author I couldn't tell what he did with the harmonica. It looked like he put it down somewhere strange...I couldn't really figure it. Chris not only bought the hiking boots he wore for the show...but he also bought two others to play in (he said)...a white pair...and some other.
May 21, 200323 yr Liz: I know you were just there to watch his ass shakin' on that piano bench :) teee heee!! Good thing u had those binoculars!
May 21, 200323 yr Did Jonny throw his Harmonica into the audience again.... :D Yeah, he did. I saw that thing fly in the air. It was like slowmotion. I hope no one got hurt.

Guess I have to go shopping again for a summer outfit. *rubs hands together* ;) I'm going to get them to sign every single, every EP and every album that I have. Plus my tour book and my posters. They're going to hate me by the time they finish signing all of that. The Music rocked! I was a fan before the concert but I'm even more into them now. They are amazing! :D
