Acting of my own will, against my own will.

Featured Replies

Lately this has been happening a lot. It is the strangest thing, and extremely annoying.

I keep acting in ways which I really don't want to.

This isn't looking back and saying "I wish I didn't do that." It is saying "I really don't want to be acting like this right now, but I am." It is causing me a lot of depression. And it also isn't one of those cases where I am trying to impress somebody, it is just...... I don't know...... really weird.

Why would I act in a way I don't want to, of my own free will?

Eg. I am being a smartass, paying people out, type thing, but I don't want to be doing that.

:\

Ah I know that....well maybe we act like this just out of reaction or situation...abd we can't really control it...I think this happens to me a lot....maybe it could be some protecion of ourselves or something like that...

I think you do that 'cause you wanna make a good impression to them, you wanna be "well valued" by them. Everyone wants to.

Sometimes it happens, but... you should try to control the situation, to act according what you feel although I must say I think it's normal that we can't express whatever we want being with some people. Do you think that these people who are around you act agaisnt their own will, as well?

I think I know what you mean...I've already done some stuff that I really didn't want to, and I can't really explain why either...And I feel really bad when I think about it too...It's strange...But don't worry, you'll pass through this phase, you'll see! ;)

I've had days like that... in my case usually due to boredom. (amoung other things)

Maybe if you just tried to do something different to break out of your headspace... like take a walk or get some sort of exercise... or track down some icecream and a good book.

Sometimes when I'm being snarky I just start avoiding people. That's not a very nice way to cope, but at least they don't get hurt.
