do you ever feel like you're homesick, but you dont know where to go? it's like there's no home for you. but you want to go somewhere where you belong, when you feel happy and warm? i feel unhappy, not sad, but unhappy right now. i lived in a dorm for festival dancers for 17 days, and i really miss that place so much right now i so want to go back, but i cant. it's so far away from my home and now im in japan and dorm is in taiwan. it feels like i could die if im not going back. i dont want to be in japan too. i cant go back to the dorm. i cant go home now. where to go? but i feel so homesick.

All i can say about this is that I used to feel homesick when I was younger.......but only about my real home...

 

I have been on holidays at my aunt's house when i was maybe 9.----after some days I had to get home..because i couldn't really anymore and I didn't feel well...and all this was because I was homesick...I had the same when I was 10 and we had been to a class-trip.....but we only stayed 3 days there....so I survived this...hehe....

 

I'm glad I don#t get homesick anymore today....okay....only when I'm in a foreign country...I miss germany then..because everythnig is so strange to me...

I don't like it when I see all those foreign street signs and stuff....

 

when I was in barcelona 4 weeks ago i was so glad when we arrived back in germany again...everything was so familiar to me...

 

from my current feeling I think I will and can never leave this country...

hmmm ... i kinda know that feeling.

i've never been homesick but i had the feeling that i wanna go back to a certain place.

we've been to the usa two years ago and after that back in germany. ... there was just a uge black hole and i didn't know what to do...

it was weird.

it's not that america was extremely cool and so much better. i just missed my family there :(

yes, I felt homesick last year when I went to Turkey for 8 days during the summer time. I remember I enjoyed a lot that journey, 'cos I had some of the best days of my life there, until came the moment which I had to come back to Barcelona although I didn't want to. I needed 2 or 3 days for getting used to Bcn again 'cos I missed so damn much Istanbul... and the same happened to my friend. We didn't feel good here, coming back to routine. :uhoh:

Anyway, I'm sure we wouldn't have had this feeling if we'd have spent more time there.... in that case I presume I'd have missed my country.

when i go uni, i have a feeling i could be homesick for a bit. i don't know, maybe i won't. i hope i won't and i don't think i will cause i can't wait to go but its still a possibility.

I'm not homesick. I miss a few people but I don't miss the place at all. However, I've only been here for three weeks.

It depends on the place... if you dislike it, you'll feel homesick very soon.
