sounds like some serious viruses!!!!!!!!!!!!

my computer pretty much tops that, every day at 18 30 it starts restarting on and on and on 'till midnight, not even managing to log on windows. and then after that it acts completly normally 'till the next day 18 30, i mean seriously, what the fuck is that supposed to be? i've ran countless virus scans and i've done everything i can think of, even did a system restore, still doesnt work.

i merely think its cursed now.

The computer Gods finally cursed your computer, Areej.

Damn them :disappointed:

Yes! totally! First it was just the connection gods who had my connection cursed, now its also the computer gods!

Sigh, why do they all hate me :(

this has got nothing to do with ^ but a different problem.

2 hours ago my laptop monitor just switched off then the whole thing shut down. since then i haven't been able to get anything to surge up but there is a blinking light indicating power is getting in. what on earth do i do? i'm already think i need to buy a new laptop. i am that mad because i didn't do a single thing to cause this bloody mess.

has anyone else had this problem? what will it take to be fixed? can it even be fixed? what could've caused this? does anyone know what the problem is?

yeah i'm rambling on but i am so pissed! worst timing possible!

H-E-L-P if you can.

My generic advice for computer help is to suggest typing the symptons into google along with the word "help" . I`ve solved most of my problems like this , google should find more computer problem oriented websites/forums .

It might something as simple as overheating caused by fluff in the blower fan right up to a knackered laptop . The range of issues it could be stops me from giving any specific advice , try the google thing .

My computer tops any virus, I have to by-pass the main power button everytime I want to turn it on.

So it's a physical thing :laugh3:

right on the money there. it was caused by overheating. i was using it on my bed and the material wasn't allowing for proper air flow so it just shut down. thanks for the advice though, all is well :D

Yep, if your laptop gets very overheated it will just shut down, and you have to leave it a little while to cool down before it will boot up again.

to solve your problem :

1. Clear your DNS cache. Go to Start > Run and type CMD

and hit OK.

At the command prompt, type ipconfig /flushDNS

and hit OK.

2. Clear your cache. Go to Tools > Internet Options > General tab. Under Temporary Internet Files, click "Delete Files" button. Also click "Delete Cookies" button. Click OK.

3.check if your PC is blocking the sites or not.

4.try to use firefox(http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/)

this problem usually comes from high temperature i mean you are leaving your pc working for 24 h or more and when cpu degree comes to certain degree its will restart automatically so you need to do it:

  1. Verify fans - Make sure all fans in the computer are properly working. Some motherboards and computers have fan monitors that will display the RPM of each of the major fans in the computer and if they are operating properly. Otherwise, you will need to check each of the fans and look for any type of spinning issues or listen for any abnormal noises to determine if the fans are properly working.
  2. More fans - Consider installing additional fans into the computer. Almost all computers will come included with a heatsink and fan, as well as a case fan. However, most cases will have the availability to install a second case fan that can help bring in additional air and help keep the computer cool. Computer enthusiasts and many overclockers may also create their own air ducts with fans to help bring in additional air or take out more of the hot air.
  3. Better fans - Many computers and processors will come with cheap fans to help bring down the overall cost of the computer. Installing improved fans and/or heatsinks that can move the heat away from the processor better and faster can keep the processor cool.
  4. Alternative solutions - More advanced users or users who are overclocking may also wish to consider alternative solutions such as water cooled solutions to keep their processors cool.

if problem still let me know
