[2017-7-11] Principality Stadium, Cardiff, UK
Supply & Demand The promoters think that the market can cope with charging £72.50 for GA (plus various fees on top), no doubt the show will sell out with tickets soon appearing on the parasitic secondary market sites for £120+.

And pay over the odds for venue drinks? ;)

Cameras at gigs
The trick with bottles is to have spare lids buried in your bag, then if the security person decides to remove the lid you have a spare to relid it once clear of security :cool4:

Manchester crowds are normally better for an atmosphere. Less "casual" fans

Amazing show :) Although I was a bit chicken and "hid" on the unreserved seats to avoid the rain (but somehow made it back to Waterloo by 23:00 by sheer luck at being able to jump on the first Marylebone shuttle from the Stadium Station God put a smile upon my face tonight :-)

Good song :) The album will probably just appear with no prior warning

What are you reading right now?
Dead souls by Ian Rankin, the last of my unread Rebus books. Although I have no idea what I will read next, probably pick a random book from my decreasing pile, and do my usual see if I connect with it within the first 40 or so pages

Coldplay to headline Glastonbury for the 4th time!
It's an experience unlike other festivals, so much you could do around the site

Coldplay to headline Glastonbury for the 4th time!
However any "returns" are put up for sale around April time (or any tickets which haven't been paid for in full by the deadline), so you might get lucky in the resale. Just remember to register (I'm sure the Glastonbury festival website will shout out when registrations are open again)

Amazing live set on Saturday at the Brixton Academy :)

What are you reading right now?
Just finished Personal (Jack Reacher 19), when not up to the standards of the early books, it was a good read. Got to wait until the local library service allocates the latest volume to me (making use of the local library to borrow books, saves money). Not sure what I'm going to read next, my book back-pile is looking a lot heathier now than it has done :)

Kanye West!
Although going Tidal-only probably back fired in a massive way with non Tidal users putting two fingers up and downloading it for free. The sort who might have paid for a CD or download if one was available.

Coldplay to headline Glastonbury for the 4th time!
Indeed, some people are never happy they didn't get their favourite headliner. I would put some pennies on Foo Fighters doing the Saturday night through (as they cancelled last year)

[2016-06-19] Wembley Stadium, London, UK
Public transport wise Wembley Stadium is served by 3 separate stations, Wembley Park on the Jubilee & Metropolitan line, Wembley Stadium served by Chiltern (who might or might not put additional services on) or Wembley Central (Bakerloo, London Overground & Southern). Wembley Park is the closest and is the most busy, whereas Wembley Central is a good 10+ minute walk from the stadium, so has less people heading that way. If you are heading back to London Bridge, the Jubilee is a straight shot, otherwise I would recommend Bakerloo line to Baker Street for a cross platform interchange for the Jubilee line, unless you time it right for the hourly Southern West London Line service which you could take to Clapham Junction and change to another Southern service to wherever you want to be (changing at East Croydon if required). I did Wembley Park following a Robbie Williams show a few years ago and took me 45 minutes to reach the northbound Metropolitan line platform, for Coldplay on the Thursday night show I will probably aim for the walk to Wembley Central and Bakerloo it down to Waterloo, bit of a longer walk but the trains should be quieter and less queues Hope that helps

Bad habit: Smartphone lifters
Life is for living, sure take one or two pictures to remind you, to upload to Facebook to show off to others where you are, but not the entire show, nobody will be interested in watching videos filmed from half-way back with tinny sound.

Welcome to the new Coldplaying Forums!
Flat Awesome Dark is good :) Although the snow flakes being pretty as they are do get annoying after a while

It will be interesting to see how the Green & Yellow sections will work out, as I can picture a stage runway which goes down the entire length of the pitch so people can't swap sides.

New forum style... tad white for me, and switched to default basic style as the "default" style gives me nice wide space at the ends!

[2016-06-18] Wembley Stadium, London, UK
It's not for real fans, the ones who will be up queuing in the daytime, more for the people with money who enjoy a few songs and want to sit & eat in the corporate suites mid-way up, so the sound won't be as good as being on the pitch and the atmosphere being more relaxed.

Ticket pricing?!
Quite expensive compared to previous tours, but compared to other touring artists its the going rate. Putting on stadium shows is not cheap, all the backstage crew having to be paid, logistics of shifting the gear between cities, the cost of hiring the stadium. But playing live is how bands make the majority of their money.

Adele
So well done to Adele for breaking the fastest selling album of all time (in the UK & USA). Although when I was in a branch of HMV on the day of release looking for ideas, all the songs sounded the same, at first it sounded like the staff had put on 21 instead
