I was having a look around the internet and I came across some Coldplay quotes and one in particular I found I need some help on. It's : a 'loof'? What's a 'loof'?

Why is that a funny quote? And who said it? Does anyone know? Thank you.

Chris Martin said this in an interview... However I don't remember what time/date, my apologies. But here is what he said:

 

INTERVIEWER: Oh I see then people would assume you were aloof?

CHRIS: A loof? whats a loof? oooooohhh aloof, I see I thought you meant like a loaf of bread.
