mc_squared
The traffic warden whose T-shirt insults his victims Last updated at 18:00pm on 6th September 2007 Comments A London parking attendant revealed today how he really feels about handing out tickets. His T-shirt - normally hidden underneath his uniform - said it all. As the warden pulled back his white shirt to show the unofficial message printed on the T-shirt, he was photographed by a passing member of the public. The message read: "So you got a ticket! I don't give a Fcuk." Scroll down for more... The parking attendant, believed to work for London's Westminster council, makes his feelings about the city's drivers known Read more... Every driver's dream... using a Taser on the 'Mad Mullah of the Traffic Police Taliban' Also emblazoned on the T-shirt was an image of a screwed-up parking ticket. The passer-by who took the photograph said: "I couldn't believe he risked showing it off. It obviously sums up how traffic wardens feel about handing out hundreds of tickets - they don't give a damn." He added: "We were surprised he let us see it; we've often seen him around here on the beat and handing out tickets. "It's one thing to think that but quite another to have a T-shirt made spelling it out. When his bosses find out he'll get a carpeting." The warden was photographed in Great Portland Street. He is believed to work for Westminster council - which issues more parking tickets than any other borough. Apart from the non-regulation T-shirt, the warden wore the official black parking attendant's cap with badge and highvisibility fluorescent vest. However, the unique identifying number on his epaulettes will give him away when parking chiefs investigate. Today Westminster - and its parking contractor NCP Services - reacted angrily. A council spokesman said: "We do not condone this at all and shall investigate the matter. If this is a real parking attendant, we shall not tolerate this kind of behaviour. "It does not reflect the diligent work of the majority of parking attendants who keep traffic in London moving." An NCP Services spokesman said: "We will investigate immediately whether he is a real attendant on duty. We do not condone this at all."
