So i've been on a little coldplay absence. Use to have coldplaying a bookmark on my old computer and checked in every once in awhile. Last thing I remember was rumors of songs on for a new album. But coming back I see a bunch of new stuff so can someone give me a little summary? Is LP4 this new album? Release date? Any recordings off it?

There's plenty of info to get your teeth stuck into, but no release date or album name yet. We're expecting an announcement within the next few weeks though.

So it is indeed due out this may? But no actually date in may?

^we're now thinking (based on an HMV rumor) that it will actually be out in mid-june rather than mid-may, which is making me quite sad. but coldplay themselves just really need to tell us what's going on!

 

basically, wikicoldplay is the best place to start, as is this expose article from rolling stone, which made us all jump up and dance when we read it two weeks ago.

on the tour side of things the "Prospekt Tour" (as I like to call it) should give you the latest on concerts too ;)
