Why will they hurt?

because if you lay aside you put the weight of your head on that ear with the earplug in

everytime I fall asleep with earplugs in my ears hurt

I usually lay on my back if I put earphones on. It's not as comfortable, but it works. Anyways, I'm gonna go the bed now and hope that it works. Goodnight!
