I get "The item you tired to buy is no longer available" when I try to download. Anyone else get this?

wouldn't it be cool if it was free for the first 5 min on itunes...

Finally got all of it downloaded and sorted out, phew! Half of them disappeared and I had to go searching through my computer :wreck:

Yes, I get this message too. I received the e-mail saying my pre-order was available only to find out it's not really available. Maybe they are onto me that I only buy stuff from them when it has a bonus track attached to it and they are trying to mess with me:)

still hasnt worked for me, and i pre-ordered it...so im kind of pissed right now - hoping this gets resolved.

I'm not sure the e-mails matter at this point. Some of us got e-mails and it still won't let us download. They may be having problems with pre-orders.

You can always contact itunes if it is still not there in the morning. You may be able to get the bonus tracks and some credits too. Last time I had a problem with a pre-order they gave me two song credits. It's not much, but two bucks is two bucks.

forget the pre order notification, log onto itunes and go to your account. check it out there.

I think they changed the item at the last minute. I preordered the album, but I did it yesterday when the album (I think) had already been changed.

 

Try contacting Itunes, they will sort it out for you, I'm sure.

I found a solution for this from another message board. If you have song credits (not gift card money, but actual credits for songs) pre-order purchases will not work until you use all of your credits. I had to use 4 credits today to get this to finally go through.
