Woman Skydives Over Mount Everest!

A Bristol woman has become the first person to skydive over the world's highest mountain.

29-year-old Holly Budge jumped out of a plane at nearly 30,000 feet and flew towards Everest in a special parachute which allowed her to float on thin mountain air.

She described the experience as "amazing, just spectacular".

"We had one minute of freefall and, while we were above the clouds, you could see Everest popping out of the top," she said.

The daredevil added that the £17,000 cost to perform the stunt was worth it.

"It is something that has never been done before," she said.
