Jazmine Sullivan wants to be introduced to Chris Martin to be able to make a music together with the Coldplay's lead singer.

 

Soul music singer/songwriter Jazmine Sullivan stated that she wants to record a song with Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin. "I actually want to do a song with Chris Martin," Jazmine confessed to People during an interview. "So maybe somebody will introduce me to him, or I can slip him an album and he can listen!"

 

Apart from her desire to collaborate with Chris Martin, Jazmine Sullivan also shared her excitement concerning her being nominated for four nods at 51st Annual Grammy Awards, which is to be held on February 8, 2009, at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles. "It was surreal," she claimed. "I've been working for this my whole life and to see it finally pay off is just wonderful."

 

Jazmine received five counts; Best New Artist, Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, Best R&B Contemporary Album, Best R&B Song, and Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance; for the upcoming Grammy Awards. In Best New Artist category, she will compete with other contenders, Jonas Brothers, Adele, Duffy and Lady Antebellum.

Who is she anyway?

She's a new kind of rising artist. The only song that she has that anyone even halfway knows is 'Need U Bad.' And I don't even know it really.. I just heard it once, and it was kind of annoying. At least she has a somewhat decent voice, though.

 

I guess there's nothing wrong with setting a goal. That can be hers.

Me too ^^ At Bercy I filmed a few bits and I shutted my mouth not to ruin the songs... But on the 'happy birhday Jonny' part, I got carried away and you can hear me sing very, VERY badly...XD I show this to my friends and they all told me mockingly 'woauah, such enthousiasm XD'... Glad Jonny didn't hear me from the distance! :lol:

she seems pretty cool i saw her music video playlist on mtv hits and and for one of the videos she chose fix you and said she loves chris martin and coldplay... so she is good in my book :P
