Piano intro to lovers in japan

Featured Replies

it can be seen here

This could go in three places, but i'll put it in one:

1)Does anyone know if this is a seperate song, or is it part of another, or is it just chris martin improvising and stuff?

2)Does anyone have a good sound quality version of it?

3)Does anyone know how to play it?

just wonderin

This is a separate song, this is a piece by composer Erik Satie. I played it years ago and dont remember what its called, ill find it though;)

Yeah it's Gnossienne No. 1. I had to ask about it in another random thread after hearing them play it in Atlanta. It would be neat to play.

It's more the outro of politik than the intro to lovers. I thought you were referring to the first four chords of LIJ

thank you for this information, i'm going to try and learn it, maybe.

Just finished learning it :smug:. Fun, simple piece, I never learned anything quite as dark, and it goes really well beside postcards from far away.

I was wondering that for awhile too. It reminded me of the Harry Potter theme music.:laugh3:
