Your chance to play at Liverpool SoundCity

Featured Replies

Liverpool SoundCity 2008 was described by the NME as ‘one of the biggest musical events this city has ever seen’. Our inaugural year saw gigs from Glasvegas, Cage The Elephant, Does It Offend You, Yeah?, Hercules and Love Affair, Ladyhawke, Laura Marling, Mystery Jets, Reverend and the Makers, XX Teens and The Wombats over 4 nights in various venues throughout Liverpool.

The festival and industry conference returns in May 2009 and is keen to showcase new talent and emerging acts – before the hype, before the buzz, and before everyone else.

Because of this, we're on the lookout for any new bands who want to play what is bound to be one of the musical highlights of 2009.

Our A&R team is already trawling through a pile of demos, but we want to give exposure to as many new and exciting bands and artists as possible, so we're still accepting submissions via our friends at Sentric Music. What's more, unlike many similar events, it's FREE to apply to play at SoundCity, so click the image below to find out more.
