These are the chords to A Dustland Fairytale, along with what they are

If you mess around with them a bit it'll sound right. The intro is D, A (lower) over and over

 

Then it goes D, A, F# D, A F# ....etc

 

And the D chord that goes with the lyric line: "He Look just like you want him to"

 

 

The chord sounds much more like the song with the F# and A below the D. So from left to right on a piano the chord would be F#, A D
