I'm new here so nice to meet all you other devoted Coldplayers.

 

I have to ask, i saw an article along the lines of Green Eyes will never be played live again?! I went to the link but it had been pulled down. I think i am a bit behind with the times but what's going on?! I love green eyes and i did notice they didn't play it on their Australian tour at all but what's with that?

its a paltrow effect lol they won't play it "ever" again coz its a song about a girl that chris met, so he can't sing it now he's in luv with the star....oh well :wink3:

okies i am probably really slow with my post here

but i was at the private concert where chris said that (yay for me!) and it sounded as if his heart as well as the rest of the bands hearts werent in it anymore. ive heard heaps of people go crazy and annoyed at them coz they wont play it but after i saw them live, like 2 feet away from me i felt the magic that they bring out with every note and i think if they were to play a song that their hearts werent in anymore i wouldnt feel their magic and would be some what dissapointed, so even though i like it too im glad that they dont play what they dont love as much anymore coz they wouldnt have that passion. thats my 2 cents :P

I agree with you "I Heart Coldplay" but I still couldn't help being a little dissapointed when they didn't play it at the melbourne concert. After all it is one of my fav's. They didn't play "warning sign" either which is another fav of mine... could that have something to do with gwenyth too?? hehe. Overall I have no complaints as the other songs they played did make up for it. It was nice hearing them play some of their b'sides live... overall it was a brilliant concert... well worth the trip down to melbourne! :)
