This is a thread to discuss the music of Finnish band Magenta Skycode.

 

Magenta Skycode is an indie rock/pop band from Turku, Finland. Magenta Skycode’s frontman is Jori Sjöroos, who is also known as Fu-Tourist and the producer of PMMP, popular Finnish rock band. Debut album, “IIIII” (2006) could be described as “electric post punk” or something like that with lush epic melodies. The band has since released two more songs entitled "We're Going To Climb" & "Escaping Outdoors" early in 2009. You can purchase these songs on iTunes. (Though, I'm not sure if it's available everywhere...)

and yes, new album is supposed to be out already, but they are even waaay slower than Mew, mwe. I am really looking forward to the new album. The album IIIII has only great songs on it, there's not one song on it that I don't love!
