Yeah, I'm dating a girl too and we talk about this often. We think we want to adopt, but we would be going through so much trouble. And none of us really want to get pregnant (she is shitscared of giving birth and I'm not too fond of the idea too), so we're kinda stuck.

 

But we're not there yet, we still got a lot of time :nice:

I think everyone is shit scared of giving birth! But like they say - it passes, and you do forget, which is how most people end up with more than one child! :P

bad news : my baby shower was to be Sunday,3rd October. Now Dr. says I wont be out of here until the birth of my son. So I have to have the baby shower in my room. Fine/whatever. Except that more than half of the guests wont be allowed to come for lack of space. I am so upset and overwhelmed about choosing who will come, I passed the job to my sister-in-law.:\:cry:

congrats on the upcoming birth Kels. i can't speak on the birthing process, but the time afterwards. changing diapers, feedings, etc, etc. all can be overwhelming. just take it one day at a time and cherish all those tiring moments. when they're grown you'll long for the days when you could pick them up and hold them in your hands.

Most likely my last post, labour has begun and it is getting quite painful far too early. Contractions every 3 minutes, but Dr. says little progress. Still early on but I can already see what a whinging wimp I'm turning out to be:cry: Thank you Marmellata and Viri and everyone else.:kiss: See you all on the other side......
