Daytrotter Live Sessions

Featured Replies

here is a site i discovered a few weeks back. im not entirely sure how well known it is amongst music lovers here but a great music mag i read often said they only discovered it last week, so i dont think it's that well known.

anyways it's pretty much your regular sessions website, so the band go to their studios and record a few of their songs and are then uploaded and available for free. but there is a slight catch. the bands MUST use daytrotter's instruments not their own which at times makes the performances very very unique and interesting.

here is a sample of the stuff u can find on there

they release a new session every day. they also have an iphone and ipod app which gives you access to everything the website has. also well worth following on facebook and twitter.

Yeah its super easy to sign up, they don't hound you or anything.

Hey thanks for letting me know they had this free application :awesome: Only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't support multitasking - which I do most of the time.

you should write to them and encourage them to update the app. they're really good with feedback.

  • 1 month later...

They updated the app - it now supports multitasking. :awesome: You iPhone owners, go get it if you enjoy daytrotter sessions. :charming:

Hey, I discovered this site a couple of weeks back too, when they did the Foals session!

I love it, but haven't checked it in a while and didn't realise they'd had so many good artists in, thanks for posting the links. I'll get to downloading them right away :awesome:

A small local band was just put up, Cousins and their Pop Montreal session.
