Hahaha this is great we haven't even heard MX and now we are talking about LP6 this made my day, but I hope they do an OPERA :D

A Greatest Hits really is a strong possibility. As soon as Radiohead left EMI, EMI released a greatest hits album without their permission to cash in one last time on Radiohead's material.

Now we know Coldplay are leaving EMI so they'll probably do the same. Like Radiohead, I don't think Coldplay would be happy about it, especially since Coldplay are known to dislike the concept of making people buy their material more than once. Also, in Extras Chris seems to be taking the piss out of the idea of a Greatest Hits album.

Depending on the nature of their contract, there's not a lot they can do.

But I wouldn't count that as LP6. I guessed in another thread that they might start their own label once they feel like recording again.Getting off the major label will be for the good, imo.

^^I really love the band but I'm not buying their stuff twice. How lame it is that EMI should release their songs without them consenting.
