Volunteer Programs in the US?

Hey kids, probably nobody here that can help but worth a try.

I found a ton of programs through Americorps but to help the homeless or other programs they require a Bachelors Degree! So anyone know of any other organizations that offer programs for several weeks or months that house you while you volunteer? Thanks.

Oh I did find one in Vermont for 10 week minimum but it's working at a house and living with recently released prisoners. I'd rather work with children but I might do this one. Only 330 dollars for the program and they house/feed volunteers.
