I just wanted to caution that unfortunately, it is as of yet not clear if Coldplay, who are currently on a hiatus, will play in any of these events. In the past some Global Citizen festivals either only had a brief appearance by Chris for some non-Coldplay songs or no appearance by either Chris or the band at all.

Also, at the G20 Summit show they announced that Coldplay signed on for like 15 years with GC? I don't know if that means they are donating or playing the shows every year, but I sure hope so haha

Actually, not the band but Chris Martin has signed on, only as the curator of the Global Citizen Festival for 15 years (from 2015 to 2030). That means he chooses artists for the festivals etc. Doesn't mean he or the band have to appear. :)
