Is ANYBODY here a Buddhist?

I am not one myself but I have a question about Paranirvana Day, which is coming up.

 

I know no one knows me but it would be really cool of you, any of you...anybody!

hi Weetzie...wish I could help you out. I thought I knew something about Buddhism, but I surely don't know what this Paranirvana Day is. I know the Buddha birth anniversary is in the middle of April...I believe April 14th.

Para-nirvana: nirvana = success in getting out of the cycle of life, death, and re-birth/re-incarnation.

 

so paranirvana day = day when Buddha passed away from this world in his physical form.
