headbanger_bassist Posted June 21, 2004 Share Posted June 21, 2004 Ben is the coolest. he's the "youth leader" at my church, but he's so much more than just that. he made me and i'm sure tons of other people around him feel accepted, wanted, and loved, when we felt more like no one wanted to even know we existed. he's done so much for so many people simply by approaching them and talking with them, listening and caring about what they had to say, i couldn't even start to tell you. i know i never have seen Jesus working through someone like that before, and i'll be extremely surprised [and blessed] to ever see it again. and now that so many people RIGHT HERE love him so much, he has to go away to college. he's 27 with a wife and 3 kids, and now [really soon though i'm not sure exactly when], he's going with them back to AUSTRALIA. to go to college. so probably four years. maybe longer. i'm pretty sure they'll be leaving late august or early september. now of course i want him to have whatever is best for him and his family. but i just wish he could get that without leaving, going so far away for such a long time. why him??? why the fuck him?? i've been crying just thinking about it, and my sister and basically everyone else who knows him have too. well sorry about that, i just really needed to get that off my chest. if you could pray for him and his family, and for us because we're all going to miss him so much, that would be really great. :cry: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Make the most of the time you have left, and I'm sure that if you tell him everything he'll be happy to keep in touch with you by email or regular mail. :) This reminds me of when I graduated... :lol: Ryan was a classmate I had in 2 of my classes..and we bonded very quickly....and I was used to see him everyday in class...well not everyday 'cause he would missed class some days..but on the day of graduation...I was on line to pick up my diploma and he came running and huged me so hard and we were both so happy 'cause we graduated....anyways..because of all the excitement and everything; I forgot to ask him for his info when we were hugging..and a few minutes later after he left I remembered....but then other friends of mine came and hugged and were taking pictures & it just all went very quickly & I lost sight of him..and when I was heading outside I saw him again & he even told me not to leave...but there were just too many people and we both got distracted..and then I lost sight of him again...and then I saw my family and we were taking pictures and balbalbalbabla & so I forgot to ask him about his info...and while I was driving away I remembered and went back & when I got there everybody had left... :/ and then I went to the school to ask if they could give me his info. but they said it was confidential and they couldn't give me his info...so now...I have no idea where he is.. :/ but I'm sure I'll see him again...after all it's a small world we live in ;) :D :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
