Coldplay are the first act confirmed for Capital FM's Summertime Ball 2012 at Wembley Stadium, according to the radio station this morning. Record company bosses shelved a collaboration between Chris Martin and rapper Mike Skinner (The Streets - pictured) as they were convinced it lacked chart-topping potential.
