Last week we opened up a new poll asking you when you thought we might hear a new single from Coldplay - before, during or after the forthcoming festivals. It was quickly apparent that we were likely to be heading for some news on a single release before Coldplay's first festival appearance in Germany at the weekend. We had well over 1100 votes in before the announcement and now we know what the answer really is we wanted to share the results with you: 42% of you thought correctly that we woul

We've had a good response to our latest poll - almost 1000 votes have been cast in just a couple of weeks. We asked you to decide who or what will have the biggest influence on Coldplay's fifth album. You can add to the vote here or in the polling box to the left of the page. You can comment on the poll at the Coldplay forum, and we will synch the frontpage/forum poll results later in the month. It appears that early indications suggest that the solar system project mentioned in a recent Roadi

We've had a good response to our latest poll - over 3200 votes have been cast in just a few weeks. We asked you what your favourite video from Viva la Vida era was - and interestingly the last three videos that Coldplay put out are so far the most popular. Shynola's hard work on the Strawberry Swing is recognised as it gets the highest number of votes, followed by the creativity of the Life In Technicolor ii stage-show in second and the fast-paced Lovers In Japan follows closely in third. If the voters in our latest poll manage to get on to the jury in the Coldplay/Satriani case, our boys from London will have nothing to worry about. So far, 70% of you suggested that Satriani's song did "lack originality", which seemed to reflect the analysis of the clip we posted a few days back. Voting continues. Howard E King, Satriani's lawyer, called Coldplay's response "typical" for copyright infringement cases. This criticism is hardly damning, but then again King is not trying to make

We're close to hitting 1000 votes for our latest poll, in which we asked you for your Favourite Coldplay.com 'Entity' from the LP4 era. So far the results are below - and they couldn't be closer. The Oracle needs votes because out in front with 20 votes between them are Prospekt and Roadie #42, and with the European tour gathering momentum both Prospekt and Roadie #42 have reappeared - Prospekt in Lyon for an important update on the Prospekt's March EP and Roadie.. well, everywhere. We've had a good response to our latest poll - and the results so far could not be tighter. We asked you whether you would prefer the 'Life In Technicolor ii' video to feature the band as puppets or people... and the results after nearly 700 votes so far are split - see below - by only 10 votes. You can add to the vote here. The results so far are as follows:

We've had a good response to our latest poll in which we asked you to rate Coldplay's new song Lost+ (Feat. Jay-Z). Over 1200 votes have been counted so far in just a few days and so far a quarter of you have given the track 0/10, probably reflecting the limited amount of change compared to the album version, and another quarter of you gave it perfect marks. You can continue to add to the votes here. The results so far are as follows:

We've had a good response to our latest poll - we asked you which Prospekt's March EP track you're most looking forward to. Almost a thousand votes have been counted so far in just a few days. So far Life in Technicolor ii is way out in the lead - however several tracks are vying for those high-end places. You can add to the vote here. The results so far are as follows:

We're close to hitting 500 votes for our latest poll, in which we asked you for your Favourite Coldplay.com 'Entity' from the LP4 era. So far the results are below - and they couldn't be closer. The Oracle needs votes because out in front currently neck and neck are Prospekt and Roadie #42, and with the European tour just around the corner Roadie is gathering momentum for a vicious assault on the poll results, exacerbated by Prospekt's lack of updates. You can continue to add to the voting tally

We've had almost 1000 votes in just a few days to our latest poll. We asked you which new Coldplay album track you were looking forward to the most. So far there are two frontrunners - 42 and Violet Hill. You can add to the vote here.
